The R&B field, for example, had eight categories at the most recent Grammys in February, including prizes for not only best R&B song and album, but also for best male, female and group vocal performance, and for traditional, contemporary and “urban/alternative” categories. In the revised list, R&B will have four awards: album, song, R&B performance and traditional R&B performance.
